Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain pushchair with light weight and excellent maneuverability. Its one-hand fold is compact, which means it's easy to transport and also freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a nearly flat position, and there's an enormous storage bin and canopy. Baby-friendly? Yes, with an additional carrycot.

Air-filled tyres and a good suspension can handle rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. But, you should wait until your baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.

Ickle Bubba Air

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is an excellent option for parents looking for a lightweight buggy with enhanced features. The travel system comes with a carrycot that is flat for infants as well as an adjustable rear and forward facing seat for the pushchair.

The XL Air is a really impressive car, and it's easy to see why it's received such high praise from its customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also easy to put together. In fact, I was able to get the whole thing up and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty impressive considering it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!

The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie, who is 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of space, and I like that the handle bar has pockets to keep your keys and phone safe.

The handlebar is a bit low, which could be an issue for parents who are taller. However, it's coated with a luxurious leather-like material that's soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, meaning it's still a breeze to push with children and bags on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for active parents who are eager to get outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field paths, and the front wheel can be rotated and locked for additional versatility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and a front bar to ensure your child is safe on all trips and the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving when you take a break. The comfy seat is easy to recline to a comfortable lying position, and the canopy can be opened to allow netting for optimum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be height-adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad or mum's heights.

The Runner will accompany you on any adventure, whether it's a quick walk, a longer hike, or a long-distance walk. It features a completely flat lay-flat seat with suspension air wheels for smooth and comfortable riding. The front wheel can be locked to provide more stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks, and the stroller folds up easily to fit in car boots and storage spaces.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally, the locking system (requiring two buttons on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebars are a bit higher than those of some competitors, which means they may not be suitable for smaller parents. However the stroller is durable and adaptable and is a good option by families with active children.

Red Kite Push Me Pace

Red Kite's Pace is a fantastic product from the cost-effective British brand. They are renowned for their simple, well-designed products that are essentials for parents. It's their latest and the most expensive addition to the budget-friendly stroller line. Like the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo it's car seat compatible, meaning you can use from birth.

The new Pace features some stunning design features such as a rose-gold tint on the hood, chassis and stroller trims that really set it apart. The car seat and stroller fabrics are fashionable in tan, grey, and cream. You can also add the handle in leather and the bumper bar to complement.

It's suitable from birth to a max weight of 22kg. The stroller seat can easily be converted from the carrycot into an reversible 2-in-1 mode that can be parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with several lie-back positions, plus comfortable padded leg rests, and an extendable sun canopy that has concealed zip sections, a viewing see-through flap, and a retractable visor.

When folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43cm x 32cm, which is perfect for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. Two buttons on each side are easy to use and can be clicked into place.

Bugaboo Fox 5

The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain stroller, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis comes with a shorter wheel distance, making it more manoeuvrable than its predecessor. I put it to the test with my two kids - a toddler and an eight week old - over rocky pavements as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.

The puncture-proof wheels are huge with a diameter of 22cm and 30cm which means they can handle all kinds of terrain. They also have a handy flap that opens or closes to let more air in should you need it this is a nice feature. It is a little bigger than most pushchairs, but it does not feel heavy or bulky when you push it over bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat can be machine washed, and the faux leather frame and grips are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt comfortable with it on busy city streets. Another benefit is that it has integrated accessory points, meaning you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a tray for snacks. You can also use the hood to block wind and rain, although it's not waterproof. It's a single pram but you can add their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child more leg room. It took around 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it to the seat.

UPPAbaby Ridge

If you're looking forward to an early morning run in the crisp air or a nighttime stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a fun-filled adventure. This all-terrain stroller is designed to keep you and the child engaged.

The massive foam-filled 12" and 16 "tires offer a smooth ride no matter the terrain. The suspension system is patented and allows you to effortlessly glide across woodland trails while minimizing impact on the legs and back of your child.  3 wheel compact stroller Push Chairs And Prams  allows you to stop quickly even while jogging down a downhill slope.

From bustling farmers markets to street musicians singing, the Ridge can navigate all your city's most popular scenes with ease. The spacious basket can accommodate your shopping cart and all of your baby's essentials while the large canopy provides sun and wind protection. The large front canopy opens to reveal two mesh peekaboo windows that make it easy to observe your baby's surroundings.

The Ridge's reversible seat allows you to choose whether your child is facing you, or the world in front. The simple foot brake system makes it intuitive for parents who are just starting out. The reversible handlebar on the back is a great feature that lets you adjust it to your height. And unlike some jogging strollers the Ridge folds stable and stays upright when folded.

iCandy Core

iCandy’s new pushchair has many features that will really impress parents. It has a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a revolutionary LED Visibility Hub Light that is a first for the industry. It comes with an integrated Ride-on Board that saves on future costs, and lets tired toddlers accompany the family when they go on excursions.

The Core can be bought in a single unit or as a complete travel system and it is compatible with the most popular car seats from brands such as Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. It is the largest seat unit of the iCandy line, meaning you can use it to help your baby's start and beyond. As with all iCandy pushchairs it is beautifully designed and is made of premium knitted jersey fabrics. The child's adjustable bumper bar as well as the parent's adjustable handlebar are made of soft leatherette. The fold-away calf supports is also very comfortable for children.

I was awed by the ease of fold and collapse - it only takes one hand, even with the seat unit in place. It fits easily in your boot or hallway and is ideal for travelling. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, including a matching changing rucksack or footmuff/liner.
